I’ll say this is my 4th year doing the stash-down since last year didn’t go so well! Hopefully things go better this year and we all get lots of making done. These are past stash-downs if you want to take a look:
This year will be fairly similar, but blog posts will be a little different. The blog post will have pictures and links for all the projects I’m working on. I’ll be talking more in depth about everything each month in a video, which will be linked below. Here’s a breakdown of how you can participate in the challenge:
- I’ll be posting monthly blog posts & videos with my goals for the month and finishes from the previous month. You can share your goals and finishes in the Teadoddles Makers Facebook group.
- Share your goals and finishes each month to be put in a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card. This will be a random draw from the people that participate. You’ll find more information about this in the Facebook group. It’s a wonderful place to meet makers!
- Since this is a Maker Stash-Down all crafts are included! If you made it, it counts. If you have questions about posting something, just let me know.
So, that’s basically what’s happening each month. Pretty awesome, right? I’m so excited to see everyone’s goals and makes! All of my goals, pics of projects, and links are in the blog post and links to previous posts for 2025 are below.
Check out the video below to hear more about my goals this month.

- Bottom – Java Wrap, kit from Lion Brand, knitting {continuing without using the 24/7 cotton}

- Top left – Gnome of the Month from Cotton Cuts, January Blocks
- Right Middle – Renewal block from Eudaimonia Studio
- Bottom – Seminole Sampler from Morning Glory Designs, circa 2016, February’s block

- Top – Necklace and earrings from one of my Bead Style Magazines. Similar but not the same.
- Bottom – Junk journal spread for February

The 100 Day Project – My progress so far

- Top right – Chocolate chip cake with ganache drip from Sally’s Baking Challenge for February
- Middle left and bottom – puzzle finishes for February

The things I work on a little each month will be listed below.
March – Spring Clean
I think March is about the time people start falling off their goals set at the beginning of the month. It’s getting warmer and there are more things to do outside. While I do love my outside time, I want to keep up my stash-down momentum by doing a little spring clean in the craft area. That’s going to involve finishing up things left from February and clearing out space for more – fabric! Ha! I’m out a whole week for spring break this month which means extra making time – yay!
Sewing
This section includes quilting, clothes sewing, general sewing, and embroidery.
QALs
This is a list of the QALs I’m finishing for the year and what I need to do to catch up!
- Aurifil DOM, circa 2017, I need to do 2 blocks this month
- Seminole Sampler from Morning Glory Designs, circa 2016, March’s block {plus the bonus block from February}
- Wonderland QAL from Quilting Mod combined with Children’s Library Mystery QAL from Pat Sloan, both circa 2017 – Finish February and March blocks
- Down the Rabbit Hole QAL from Sarah Fielke, circa 2017 – Finish February and March blocks
- Combination of QALs see this post – Get this finished and off my wall!
I’m not adding any extra quilt blocks this month – I just want to get caught up.
Clothing
I didn’t get any clothes sewn for February! My goal this month is to get through this stash of fabric under my drafting table because I have more fabric coming in. All of this has been matched to a pattern, it just needs to be cut and sewn. We’ll see how far I get!

Small Sews
The only small sew I got done in February was the Renewal block shown in my finishes. Along with finishing up small sews from February I’m going to work on a few added for March.
- Stitched eggs and chicks from Ann Wood Handmade {free pattern}
- Mushroom mini – a free form project I started ages ago! Watch my vlog this week for a look at what I’m doing.

Embroidery
- Top – Puzzle temperature cross stitch from 4stitch progress
- Middle right – Happy Valentine Matilda cross stitch progress
- Bottom – Temperature Stitch Along from Garden Girl Studios {free pattern}

My goals are now to work on in progress cross stitch and embroidery and improve my stitch work.
Yarny Things
These are divided by monthly, yearly, and WIPs to finish so goals are in the lists.
Monthly
- Top – Amigurumi per month, Lady Bug and Caterpillar, Red Heart Amigurumi
- Bottom – Hat per month, Anastasia hat from the Dabbling Hook, Flikka yarn {discontinued}

CALs
A reminder of what I’m working on continuously for the year. I also made no progress on the first 3 in February!
- 2025 forecast blanket, pattern is Bias Granny Temperature Blanket from TL Yarn Crafts, using forecast chart from Lion Brands temperature blanket
- Sweater start, Luxe Pullover from WeCrochet Magazine, Issue 9, yarn is all Southern Skeins {continuous until done}
- Wonderland wrap by Hobii, Red Heart it’s a wrap in sprinkles and rainbow {8 rows per month – marker shows new rows}
- Top left – chunky weight scrap granny squares
- Middle right – worsted weight scrap granny blanket
- Bottom left – Blackstone Designs Tunisan CAL, February start, Red Heart Super Saver Stripes in Sutherland Stripes

I’m going to use my DK and sock yarn to make the Seastar Bloom Motif and see what it becomes! I got the pattern for free in a newsletter from Cup of Stitches.

WIPs
Coastal Fog Chunky Cardigan from Hopeful Honey, Stitchbird from Lion Brand – I had to frog and restart this because I don’t know what pattern I was using!

Not a WIP yet, but I’m hoping to get a start on this soon. This is the Shelly Scarf by Lilla Bjorn and I’m going to use this Butterfly yarn by Premier.

DIY Things
I’ll be continuing to work on my junk journal and The 100 Day Project. I plan on making more jewelry from my Bead Style magazines also.
Oh, I totally forgot to tell you that the necklace you made is beautiful. It looked really nice on you.
